Contract compliance is basically a program that has been exclusively designed to ensure that employers who are working with federal and local government according to certain set out rules and regulations relating to the business. The unit associated with these methods is OFCCP or the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. The OFCCP happens to be a wing of the US Department of Labor – Employment Standards Administration
The Labor Contract Compliance Program includes the following important sections include :.

· Prohibition kickbacks
· Prohibition of fee acceptance
Payment prevailing rates section includes the rules and regulations of the current price of wages. The basic rule is that contractors and subcontractors who have been hired to complete the project should pay their employees wages mentioned in the job number. However, if the estimated costs of the project are carrying, it will be mandatory to follow other rules specified in sections in the same number.
The apprentices section requires contractors and subcontractors to abide by the rules under section 1777.5. The penalties section comes into the picture if that contractors and sub-contractors are not able to comply with the rules related to prevailing wages and are provided penalty. Members can also apply to forfeitures and debarment if they fail to appoint registered apprentices.
The certified payroll records section ensures that contractors and subcontractors keep accurate payroll records with all the information about the students, employees and workers. It also contains information like hours, contact details etc. discrimination in employment is an important factor that defines action against any employment discrimination. The kickbacks prohibition section bars employers to reward illegal. Similarly, rules out the section of non-approved expenses, do not allow the above partners to the place of registration fees for public functions.
